About
Lucas Anderson
BSc (Physiology) · Doctor of Physiotherapy · Shoulder + Elbow Specialist · Strength & Conditioning Coach · Former Pitcher
Growing up in Melbourne, Lucas now lives on the Surf Coast of Southeast Australia.
He holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy with Honours from the University of Melbourne, alongside Australian Strength & Conditioning registration, which shapes the way he thinks about load, capacity, and athletic development in his clinical work.
With a 14-year pitching background and 4 national championship appearances, Lucas experienced multiple shoulder injuries that exposed how generic rehabilitation consistently fails to address the true demands of throwing athletes. That experience led him to pursue physiotherapy with a clear goal: to bridge the gap between rehab and performance.
Today he specialises in shoulder and elbow injuries for overhead and baseball athletes, bringing together his life as a competitive pitcher and his clinical training to help athletes return to the demands of their sport - not just pain-free, but genuinely ready to perform.
